Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or booking our services. By accessing https://akstudio.ae or contracting AK Studio | Visual & Digital Solutions (“AK Studio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you (“Client” or “User”) agree to be legally bound by these terms.

1. Services & Scope of Work

AK Studio delivers professional creative and digital services across Dubai and the UAE, including:

• Commercial, Corporate, Event, Fashion, and Product Photography
• Cinematic Videography, Commercial Ads, and Post-Production
• Podcast Studio Rental, Audio-Visual Production, and Live Recording
• Graphic Design, Corporate Branding, and UI/UX Solutions
• Website Design, Web Development, and Digital Marketing Management

All projects are executed based on a written quotation, proposal, or statement of work agreed upon prior to commencement.

2. Bookings, Deposits & Payment Terms

2.1 Confirmation Deposit

• A shoot or studio booking is confirmed only upon receipt of an advance deposit (typically 50% of the project fee, unless agreed otherwise in writing).
• Studio time slots, dates, and crew schedules are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

2.2 Final Balance

• The remaining balance is due prior to the handover of final, high-resolution media deliverables (or within agreed invoice credit terms for corporate accounts).

2.3 Currency & Value Added Tax (VAT)

• All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED).
• Invoices are subject to UAE Value Added Tax (5% VAT) in accordance with the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA).

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• Notice given > 48 hours: The advance deposit can be credited towards a rescheduled date within 30 days.
• Notice given < 48 hours: Deposits are non-refundable to cover reserved studio slots, crew allocations, and preparation costs.
• Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseen disruptions (e.g., severe weather, government restrictions, venue shutdowns), both parties agree to reschedule at the earliest available date without penalty.

4. Client Responsibilities & Studio Guidelines

• Permits & Location Access: The Client is responsible for securing necessary entry permits, venue approvals, or location passes unless explicitly managed by AK Studio.
• Punctuality & Overtime: Productions commence and conclude at the booked times. Additional overtime requested on shoot day will be billed at standard hourly rates.
• Care of Studio & Gear: Clients and their guests must handle studio equipment and backdrops responsibly. Any intentional or negligent damages will be billed to the Client.

5. Deliverables, Revisions & Archival

• Turnaround Time: Standard turnaround for edited photos and videos is 5 to 14 business days depending on project volume. Expedited delivery is available upon request for an additional fee.
• Revisions: Quoted projects include up to two (2) rounds of reasonable revisions aligned with the original brief. Structural changes or scope additions are quoted separately.
• Raw File Storage: Raw video footage and unedited RAW files are retained for 30 days following delivery. Clients are advised to download and back up deliverables immediately.

6. Intellectual Property & Licensing

• Copyright: Under UAE and international copyright laws, AK Studio retains the original author copyright for all creative media produced.
• Client License: Upon full payment, the Client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide commercial license to use and distribute the final deliverables for their intended marketing or personal use.
• Portfolio Usage: AK Studio reserves the right to display selected project materials on our website portfolio (akstudio.ae) and official social channels, unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been signed.

7. Limitation of Liability

AK Studio maintains the highest standards of equipment redundancy and care. However, our maximum financial liability for any claim, equipment failure, or accidental file loss shall not exceed the total fee paid by the Client for that specific service.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the Federal Laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any legal dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
